School Assemblies

A Source of Encouragement and Strength for Youth
At the conclusion of a recent school presentation in St. Louis, a group of 7th grade boys had tears in their eyes when they came up to shake our hands and say how much the program touched them. Life is difficult for many students sitting in the classrooms of our schools. We challenge those who are weak to hold on tight and never give up, and those who are stronger, to reach outwardly and help the weaker persevere with a reminder; they are in this together. We have seen many lives changed this year.

“You are loved” is an important message for every teenager. Hearing stories of the rejection experienced by the speakers, yet seeing them overcome it gives hope and inspiration.

We have several more assemblies scheduled for the rest of the school. We look forward to booking the 2011 – 2012 school year. If you have interest in us speaking at your school, please contact us.

What others are saying about our school program…

We have spent the morning reflecting on some of the important lessons the kids took away from your program last week. In my nine years at Cross Keys Middle, I have seen a lot of ‘speakers’ and presentations for the kids from rappers to millionaires and even millionaire rappers! You and Brryan’s message on character and living life to the fullest was by far the most impacting and relative to our students today. I have never seen 400+ 13 year olds so quiet and focused on what was being said. I know you made an impact on more students than we know. Keep up your awesome work, God bless!  —Ashley Larrew, Science Teacher, Cross Keys Middle School

Thanks for the best assembly we have had in years. Your message was inspiring, sincere, well delivered, and well received by the kids. Can’t recall having such rapt attention to speakers in years. What impressed me most was how you took time to look the kids in the eyes, and waited for them to look back, before telling them with compassion, “You are loved.” In my years of teaching I know this is difficult for many kids and it touched them. Thanks for making this day for us here at Cross Keys Middle School. —Tom Anselm, Teacher, Cross Keys Middle School, Florissant, MO
